Services for Older Citizens

  • An organization serving Harper Woods and the Grosse Pointe's, Services for Older Citizens (SOC), provides an array of services ranging from minor home repair, to tax preparation services to numerous social activities.  For more information give them a call at 313- 882-9600, or visit them at

Harper Woods Senior Club Events

  • Senior Club meetings are held on the first Monday of the month from September thru June.  New members are always welcome.  Contact President Joan Mannino at 313-886-0007 for more information.

  • Meetings are currently being held at the Harper Woods Library.

Pinochle and Card Games 

  • Every Thursday Pinochle and other card games are played from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.  You do not have to be a senior club member to play.  All are welcome.

Center of Lifelong Learning for Active Adults

 Lifelong Learning for Active Adults is a non-denominational, educational center that provides meaningful opportunities for lifestyle enrichment for active adults in our community since 1998. We offer programs that promote health and fitness, mind and spiritual development, and continued social engagement through relationship with members of all age groups.
