         Adopt a Fire Hydrant Program

The Harper Woods Fire Department seeks your help in keeping fire hydrants clear of snow and debris. A minimun clearance of three feet around the hydrant is optimal. Your assistance will help reduce the time it takes for fire fighters to locate and hook up hoses if there should be a structure fire in your neighborhood. The best time to shovel out a hydrant is after your street has been plowed and before snow accumulates and freezes. If you would like to volunteer for this program, please call 313-343-2555.
