The City Clerk's Office is responsible for an array of functions as required by the City Charter and various State Statutes. Please review the following links for additional information:

Boards and Commissions - as Secretary prepares agenda's and minutes.
Business Licenses - issues business licenses to area businesses as required.
City Council - Secretary to City Council
City Ordinances - maintains all certified ordinances.
Elections - responsible for planning, preparation and administration of all elections.
Employment Notices/Applications - prepares, publish and collects all employment applications.
Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) coordinator - responds to all requests made under FOIA.
Garage Sale Permits - issues permits over the counter at City Hall only.
Public Notices - prepares, posts and publishes all required Public Notices.
Retirement Board Administrator - oversee retirement system as required by ordinance.
Web Site Administrator for the City - maintains City web site and Nixle Community messages.
Workers Compensation - process all City related worker compensation claims.
