Wednesdays we go to Meijer, Home Depot, JoAnn’s, Michael’s, Macomb Mall, Bed Bath & Beyond, and Walmart. We require at least three (3) passengers to make the trip; cost is $4.00 round trip During the months of November and December, we will offer the Gratiot Loop two days a week; Monday and Wednesday, $4.00 round trip. Call 343.2580 for more information. If there is enough interest we will consider going to other malls for holiday shopping. Just let us know where you would like to shop.

On the third Monday of every month we make a trip to the Super Wal-Mart at I-94 & Hall Road (In December we will go twice: December 7 and December 21. We make a day of going shopping, out to lunch and maybe to the big NinoSalvaggio’s on Hall Road. Cost is $7.00 round trip. Call by the Friday before and pick up begins at 9:30.

Connector has changed its Northern boundaries to include 9 Mile Rd. from Mack to Kelly. Charges to go to 9 Mile & Mack will be $1.50 one way.

There is no age or residency requirement to ride the Harper Woods Connector bus. You only have to be within our boundaries of Moross, Kelly, Mack and Eight Mile. We also go to Kmart and Macomb Mall (Gratiot Loop). Call 343.2580 for moreinformation.

If you are a resident of Harper Woods or Grosse Pointe and are 60+ and/or disabled you can ride PAATS. You MUST call at least 36 hours in advance. The service area for PAATS is much larger than Connector, we go to many medical facilities such as Henry Ford Hospital and St. John Macomb. Call 343.2580 for more details. All passengers riding on PAATS andreturning after 3:00pm must make a return appointment.

• Connector/PAATS will have a table at Assumption’s Senior Expo in October, 2009. Come to our table and say hi andreceive a “Free Ride” pass. Quite often ghosts and other characters drive the busses on Halloween, ride that day andreceive a treat and maybe a “Free Pass”. Occasionally we will have special lunch trips and trips to the movies or a mallfor shopping.
• Can’t think of a Christmas Gift for your neighbor, friend or relative living in the Harper Woods or Grosse Pointe area? Give them a gift card; call our office, 343.2580 for information.
• We will continue to provide transportation to Special Trips arranged by SOC. They have already planned several outings, which will include plays, concerts, shopping, lunches at area restaurants and more. Call SOC at 882.9600 for more information.
• Connector/PAATS will be closed on Thanksgiving and the day after, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, New Years Eve and New Years Day. HAPPY HOLIDAYS FROM ALL OF US TO YOU.
